Volunteers Needed!

Thank you to everyone who came to this evenings meeting.

We need volunteers for the following:

Roosters (training will be provided)
Rooster trainers
Fund Raising & Awareness Events Officer

Website Administrator (training will be provided)
To co-ordinate a mail out/meeting for tree surgeons, builders etc. in conjunction with the Env. Dept.

If you would like to volunteer for any of the roles please let me know!

Bat Group Christmas Party!

I think that we should have a group Christmas party as this would be an ideal opportunity for members new and old to get to know each other a little better in a more social setting than whilst staring up at the side of a building waiting for the bats to emerge!

Please post your ideas of what to do, when and where to hold the event as comments below!

Bat Group Meeting

I have booked the Arthur Mourant Room at the Societe for a bat group meeting on the Wed 30th Sept at 7:30

For those who do not know the building it is the Pier Rd entrance to the Museum and the room is on the third floor of the building on the right as you go through the gate from Pier Road. I’m not sure but I think you need to go down a flight of steps in the courtyard before entering the building. There is plenty of parking in Pier Rd car park as well as on the side of the road directly outside the Societe building on Pier Rd.

I was intending to put this down as an event in the appropriate section of our new web facilities but I’m not sure how to do this. Guess second option should have been on the forum which I didn’t manage either.

Ani is getting together an agenda so any additions – post them here or send her by email.

David :-)
