BAT TALKS
Just a quick Thank You to Ruari for doing the bat talk yesterday!
We had a fairly good turn out at lunch time but not so good in the evening so we have decided that we will only do lunch time talks from now on.
As December is likely to be a busy month for everyone the next talk will not be until Janaury, we will then have 2 in February and the last one in March. I will send out the dates and details as soon as they are all arranged and I hope to see some of you there!

Draft Island Plan
There is currently a consultation period on the new Draft Island Plan, as part of the plan is concerned with biodiversity we, as the Jersey Bat Group, should make a response-particularily in support of enhancement of biodiversity.
The Draft Island Plan is available to read here
I have written an initial review of the plan which is attached to this post: Draft Island Plan review
Please read the document and post any comments below.
The consultation period ends on 18th December, therefore once everyone has had a chance for review and consultation the Bat Group reponse will be amended according to the overall consensus and then submitted to the States of Jersey before 18th December.
Thanks,
ani
