BCT New relationship approach – channel islands meeting

Hi All,
We have been invited to attend a meeting in Guernsey, on 2nd October, of all the Channel Island bat groups along with Laura Dunne from the BCT to discuss the BCT’s new relationship approach to bat groups. I will be attending, Kate Sharma and Ruari Allen may also be going with me.
If anyone has any discussion points they would like to raise with the other channel islands groups please let me know.

Thanks,

ani

Just read FAQ on BCT new relationship approach…. wow it’s complicated as a first read! Don’t really understand it. Does it mean that each local group becomes independent and no longer pays fees to BCT? How would it affect sharing of information across the country? Is the local group able to take advantage of BCT charitable status and would this change with the new relationship? Good Luck on 2nd Oct

    Kindest regards

    Nicky
